2011 DURGA PUJA

It all started last saturday and since then I hardly got time to sit for myself.Shuttling between work and celebrations I was quite busy,the phase I cherish always;when at the end of the day am dead tired and have no energy to crib and think.Sunday started in a perffeccttto lazy mood crawling to the lovely house party at Mithai's place.Booze,pork sausages to start with and music giving us company.Mithai had already prepared dal,eggplant fry and 'doi mach'(typical bengali fish delicacy' and I cooked pepper chicken.Rahul loved it : ),wow I passed my test..hehe.Party was going on good until Rahul got possessive about me.So it was like we had to drive out his friends literally.The only thing to handle his posessiveness is lotsa love : P & I have tried to master all the gears of his emotions.Later that night we went out to see the Indiranagar Defence Colony's Puja pandal.It was the very first time for Rahul and he seemed quite engrossed..me surprised surprised.
Monday is always my weekend and unlike others I always wait for Monday.This Monday we went to Kudla for lunch.Awesome Mangalorean spicy food to enchant our gastronomical G-spot for hours.In the evening we shifted our pandal hotspot to Kormangala one from where we both headed to Guzzlers..Rahul's Monday is incomplete without visiting this place.The day was going smoothly but life is a roller coaster ride.We had to rush coz cousin was in a problem but with blessings of Ma Durga,all wrapped up.

ASHTAMI

Maha Ashtami was Tuesday,'anjali' was given with satisfaction and this the first puja in 
Bangalore where I have been really hopping placesfrom Indiranagar to Kormangala to Jayamahal,Palace Grounds and relishing 'luchi-chicken kasha', 'rice-mutton jhol'.We even triend ice gola and candy floss,the perfeccttt puja outing like when we were kids.With all the blessings of Goddess Durga,it was a reinvention of childhood times puja at Bangalore.

NAVAMI

In all these days,I have observed so many people in the puja pandals,and a complete book can be written on them.Few like with new SLR and taking non-stop pics,one girl in puja pandal in hotpants,one volunteer extremely overjoyed to have three lady assistants and so many more.

NOSTALGIC CHILDHOOD MEMORIES

Amidst all nostalgia and smiles,I had bad fights with Rahul aswell.We fight insanely and love crazily.But the best part is now I have learnt venting it out rather than keeping it inside and waiting for it to burst one day.Well,at the end of the day,I feel fights make our bond sweeter and stronger.Everyone must be wondering why I speak about Rahul whenever I write about something else,its jus coz his presence in my life is as implicit as my breathing and with him I feel complete.

On this note,am winding up wishing all a SHUBH BIJOYA DASAMI n HAPPY DUSSERA n praying the blessings of Goddess Durga is manifested upon us the year through.

Punjabi Navaratri

P.S : this time I experienced the punjabi navratri and it was quite different than us.We hog on nonveg this time of the year while they detoxify : P ;auntie kept fast and worshipped twice daily and planted wheat seeds which grew surprisingly so large I couldnt help but take pictures to show mom.This they consider blessing and I pray she is blessed always.
